To that end, throughout 2023, we released many new features to improve our product solutions in pursuit of excellence, meeting the needs of your business, and empowering your success.
This article offers you a walkthrough of the 2023 iDeals product feature updates.
Streamlined multi-project management for seamless control
This year, we delivered our new user interface for corporate account administrators alongside a host of new features.
The participants section with project users is a feature tailored to enhance the experience of corporate account administrators under the Enterprise plan that allows to:
- Easily delete users from multiple projects in corporate account with just a few clicks
- Efficiently search by name or email, and, dynamic filtering functionalities
- Gain a complete overview of all users across projects
Another feature that has been specifically designed to help Business and Enterprise clients manage multiple projects simultaneously is the projects view.
With the Enterprise plan, you can now:
- Customize your projects table with what’s valuable to you
- Check progress at a glance with even more project properties available, including number of admins, number of users, last user or admin sign-in, and recycle bin data
- Find the project you need with our search, filters, and result-sorting features
- Export your project list into an Excel file
New mobile app
The newly redesigned iDeals mobile app, thanks to its updated features and improvements, allows to streamline project management with secure document access anytime, anywhere.
The mobile version can be opened directly in the browsers on your mobile devices or you can download our updated mobile app for iOS and Android.
Improved insights and data analysis
With the new data room dashboard, administrators can check project progress with its easy-to-read analysis. Track user behavior, discover trends, and act faster.
The modernized projects list gives you faster access to the projects needed: the option to switch between views and the ability to mark projects as favorites.
Finally, we would like to mention the simplified project index export. The index template has been revamped, ensuring we export a list of files and folders in a more convenient way.
Increased efficiency and seamless user experience
In Q1 2023, we introduced a feature that allows users to set up permissions by file type for entire user groups. The new feature is fully automated and confidential so that users will no longer be required to process this manually or request a change from our support team.
Enhanced watermarks
Still talking about increased efficiency and safe procedures, enhancing our watermarks was definitely a step forward in guaranteeing high levels of security to our clients. The enhanced watermarks are much more secure and faster to apply which means less waiting time when downloading files.
In addition to this, administrators now have greater control over their watermark settings including content, color, opacity, and position.
When it comes to Q&A, we have implemented dozens of improvements along with the import answers feature that allows answer coordinators to import answers from an Excel file. This new feature enables you to answer questions outside the data room and then easily import these answers back to the project.
Import folder structure
The import folder structure tool allows you to upload an Excel file containing your predefined folder structure effortlessly. Once uploaded, you can check and modify the automatically detected hierarchy, adjusting as needed.
Finally, to help you save time at the moment of redacting your documents (particularly for documents with repetitive placement of sensitive data), we implemented a series of improvements to our redaction tool that allow you to redact specific sections across the entire document with the added flexibility to preserve those redactions only where essential.
Enhanced authentication methods for increased security
To guarantee you an extra level of security and protection of your sensitive data, we have introduced a series of improvements such as the sending of a security code by email.
Code by email offers a more secure and user-friendly authentication process, making it a helpful tool for our clients looking to improve their security and user experience.
We have also added further security options to the settings. The new security module within room settings allows administrators to enforce 2FA sign in and restrict room access to specific email domains or IP addresses.
Finally, we’ve also incorporated time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) 2-step verification, enabling users to establish their second factor using trusted authenticator apps from Google, Microsoft, or any other provider.
